The Dexnyl PEEK shrink tube provides a protective layer for sensitive or critical components as an alternative to traditional materials. PEEK shrink tubes are particularly effective in environments where extreme heat or cold, high pressure, or chemicals, water, or dielectric interference endangers wires and electrical components. BIEGLO can offer PEEK shrink tubing with a diameter of 0.965mm to 9.957mm. PEEK is a thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used instead of metal or other types of plastics. PEEK has a temperature resistance of up to 240 ° C and a special resistance to chemicals.

BIEGLO can offer PEEK granulates in various viscosities. It can be used for a variety of applications: semi-finished product extrusion, injection molding, compounding, filament and film extrusion, coatings. Our CoPEEK 012G is high viscous, unreinforced PEEK for extrusion and injection molding, thus it is the standard type for the production of semi-finished products. Polyimide semi-finished products are available in various compounds, for example with PTFE or graphite for better coefficients of friction. BIEGLO offers high temperature resistant and flame retardant fibers. The application is similiar to meta-aramid, but PI fibers have its own advantages. The long-term service temperature is 260℃. The decomposition temperature is 560℃. The LOI is 38%, it means it is non-flameble fiber. The Dexnyl Polyimide fibers are applicable in many products, but they are used best in niche-applications with extreme standards for the material: 1- FR Protective clothing: e.g. military fligth clothing, flame resistand underwear, firefighter uniform etc. 2- High temperature filtration and industrial insulation: e.g. dedusting filtration for cement factories, steel or powder plants, air filtration for painting area operated at more than 300°C . 3- Composite material: taking advantage of insulation, flame retardance and high emperature resistance, chopped fiber can be used as reinforced material.

The Dexnyl PEEK filaments of BIEGLO is a high performance product made by melt spinning. Semicrystalline PEEK has high tensile strength, it is exceptionally resistant to chemicals and can withstand extreme temperatures. These features ensure a longer product life, lower maintenance costs, less machine downtime and wider material design options compared to steel or aluminum parts. PEEK filaments can be used very well for 3D printing. Printing with PEEK requires 360 ° C to 380 ° C. So far, only specially modified 3D printers are able to achieve this heat. Sliced ​​woven and/or unidirectional fibers significantly reinforce matrix material and are a popular additive for composites. PEEK filaments are also used on musical instruments, rackets and wide or narrow woven straps, filtration mesh fabrics and sewing threads. Our polyimide tubing are mainly used in the medical industry for catheters or neurovascular applications. Dexnyl polyimde tubings are extruded from thermoplastic polyimides and offer excellent pushability and tractability as well as ultra-smooth surface and transparency. USP class VI (USP 6) compliance is of course a given.

Machined parts are widely used for small series high precision applications. Polyimide direct formed parts can be used in different applications: Automotive industry: racing engine fuel line. Jet engine: vane bushing or lock nut insert. Industrial machinery: hotrunner systems nozzles or plasma cutting torch as gas distributers or sealing components. BIEGLO offers injection molded or machined PEEK screws that can perfectly replace metal screws. Our PEEK screws are applied to imrove the chemical resistance without loosing too much of the mechanical strength. BIEGLO offers polyimide powders for various processes. The Dexnyl PI powder is available in two different particle sizes. Our Dexnyl PI Powder 100P_19 suitable for compounding and compression molding application and our Dexnyl PI Powder 260_19 is suitable for producing compression molded and direct formed parts. The range of products that can be produced from our polyimide (PI) is only limited by the processing machines. Polyimide powder can be processed by hot compression molding, direct forming, iso-static compression molding or it can be compounded with other materials as an additive. Polyimide powder is often compounded with PTFE to increase certain properties of the PTFE.
